Baltimore Airport (IATA: BWI, ICAO: KBWI, FAA LID: BWI), also known as Baltimore–Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport or BWI Airport, is one of the three airports serving Baltimore–Washington D.C. metropolitan area along with Washington Dulles Airport and Ronald Reagan Washington Airport, in the U.S.


It is the busiest airport in Maryland, handling more traffic than airports in Washington and Philadelphia BWI Airport is located in Linthicum Heights, Anne Arundel County, 9 miles (14 km) south of downtown Baltimore and 30 miles (48 km) northeast of Washington D.C.

Inter-terminal transportation

There is no need to take a shuttle between the Main Terminal and Concourses. For arriving international passengers from Concourse E, please proceed to take a shuttle to the Main Terminal.
